Welcome to Zongyuan (宗园命理). By accessing or using our website, signing in with Google, or purchasing readings and subscription plans, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use the site.

1. Nature of the service and disclaimers

Zongyuan provides Chinese BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) astrological readings for personal reflection, insight, and entertainment.

• AI-generated readings. All readings and answers are generated by an artificial intelligence model based on the interpretive principles and method of Zongyuan Daozhang. They are not delivered in person by her.
• Not professional advice. The readings, interpretations, and materials on this site do not constitute medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, tax, investment, or financial advice. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read on this site.
• Personal discretion. You are solely responsible for any decisions, actions, or conclusions you make following a reading.

2. Accounts and Google sign-in

To save your charts, keep conversation history, and purchase credits or plans, you must sign in with a valid Google account.

• Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and make purchases.
• Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate birth date, time, and time zone information so that charts can be computed correctly.

3. Intellectual property and registered trademarks

All content, software, brand names, visual designs, illustrations, proprietary prompt systems, BaZi calculation algorithms, and texts on this website are the exclusive intellectual property of Zongyuan and its lawful owners, protected by the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China, Copyright Law, Anti-Unfair Competition Law, Civil Code, and international intellectual property treaties (including the Paris Convention and WIPO treaties).

Official Trademark Ownership: The names and marks “宗园”, “张宗园”, “Zongyuan”, and the proprietary Zongyuan circular device/logo mark are registered trademarks officially granted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), owned by 黄佳寅 (Huang Jiayin).

4. Strictly prohibited infringing acts

We enforce a strict, zero-tolerance policy against any form of intellectual property infringement or unfair competition. Pursuant to Article 57 of the Trademark Law of the PRC, Article 6 of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the PRC, Articles 52 and 53 of the Copyright Law of the PRC, Articles 1014 and 1019 of the Civil Code of the PRC, and applicable international laws (including the US Lanham Act 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a)), any entity or individual is strictly prohibited from engaging in any of the following acts without prior written authorization:

• Trademark infringement and passing off. Using identical or confusingly similar trademarks, names, or logos to “宗园”, “张宗园”, or “Zongyuan” on any goods, packaging, stationery, digital products, astrology or divination apps, websites, consulting services, or social media accounts (including WeChat, Douyin, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, YouTube, and X); selling, distributing, or importing any counterfeit merchandise bearing our registered marks; or bidding on our trademark names in search engine keyword auctions (e.g., Google Ads) to divert traffic.
• Copyright infringement and unauthorized data harvesting. Scraping, spidering, copying, mirroring, republishing, adapting, or creating derivative works from our readings, case library records, glossary entries, prompt designs, or UI layouts; or using any content or outputs from this site to train, fine-tune, distill, or evaluate any third-party AI models or astrology algorithms.
• Name and portrait rights infringement. Misusing, editing, or commercializing the name, portrait, illustrations, voice, or video material of Zongyuan Daozhang without express written consent.
• False representation and impersonation. Falsely representing oneself as Zongyuan Daozhang, her disciple, apprentice, team member, or authorized agent, or offering unauthorized fortune-telling, BaZi, or Feng Shui consultations under the Zongyuan name.
• Reverse engineering and security tampering. Decompiling, reverse engineering, probing, or attacking our website architecture, algorithms, rate limiters, token accounting, or authentication systems.

5. Legal remedies and enforcement

In the event of any unauthorized use or infringement, Zongyuan and the trademark owner will pursue all available legal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by domestic and international law, including:

1. Immediate suspension or permanent termination of relevant user accounts and platform access.
2. Filing formal complaints and requesting enforcement actions with market supervision authorities, copyright bureaus, customs, and internet hosting providers.
3. Initiating civil lawsuits to obtain emergency injunctions, order the destruction of infringing goods, demand formal public apologies, and recover full compensatory and statutory damages, as well as all reasonable legal costs (including investigation expenses, notarization fees, and attorney fees).
4. Where infringement reaches the threshold of criminal offenses (such as the crime of counterfeiting registered trademarks or copyright infringement under the Criminal Law), reporting the matter to law enforcement authorities for criminal prosecution.

6. Credits, plans, and payments

• Credits. Readings and questions are paid for in virtual credits. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable between accounts.
• Payments and reseller. When you purchase credits or a subscription plan, payment is processed securely by Creem, our merchant of record and reseller. We never see, collect, or store your credit card numbers.
• Subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated billing interval until cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds. Once credits have been consumed or a reading has been generated, purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by mandatory consumer protection law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zongyuan and its operators provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

In no event shall Zongyuan, its affiliates, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, emotional distress, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of the site or reliance on any reading.

8. Account deletion and termination

You may delete a single chart at any time from My charts, or permanently delete your entire account along with all charts, conversations, active plans, and remaining credits from the Account page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data, including information received via Google Sign-In, is described in detail in our Privacy Policy. By using Zongyuan, you acknowledge and agree to our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. When we make updates, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
